Pre-Order Buffy Season 9 at TFAW! You can now pre-order all 3 variants of Buffy Season 9, #1, at TFAW.com or start a Season 9 subscription. Some beautiful, amazing artwork by Jo Chen, Steve Morris & Georges Jeanty!

Anyone else just as excited as me?? What does Joss have in store for us now?
If you haven't pre-ordered the new 'Angel & Faith' series & 'Dollhouse: Epitaphs', you can add them to your subscriptions list on TFAW.com as well.

Not really related to TFAW or this post, but I shall be very annoyed if Chen's covers being variants means they're harder to get hold of.
Got our subscriptions locked in! And Matt7325, if you set up a subscription at TFAW, you can lock in both the regular covers and variants so you're assured to get one of each. That's what we do. They used to be different but I'm really glad they switched.
3 variants? Blimey. I'll be sticking to Jo Chen's covers wherever possible I think, love her art.

Dammit, I'm not that excited. Maybe I'm not allowing myself too, because now I start to hear that sad voice whining; We won't get season 9 until August/September, buhuu.

Better repress it until I have it in my hands.

I really hope they will make these digital, so I can save money. I want to buy the digital copy, then wait for months/years until the singles are cheap and buy those (and the TPBs and potential HCs, since I want all version of every comic story). I will do that, if they make them available, and around the same time the physical copies are released.

In case they sell them more than a week after the physical ones are released, I don't think I will buy them.
It's annoying that Jo Chens covers are now variants.
I like getting the original covers/Cover A's which are usually Jo Chen and now i'm a bit miffed on which one to go for.
Variant or traditional Cover A?
-Brain go mush-
Can anyone recommend a good comic book store in New York City? (ie, one that sells Buffy comics) I'm moving there in 2 weeks, and I need to know where to get my fix.
Yeah, I'm also hoping Dark Horse makes Season 9 available for sale digitally. As I generally buy the trades, but I wouldn't mind paying for the digital comic to read the comics as they come out so that I don't have to avoid spoilers.
racheltng, here's a list of good comic stores. Although I don't know if all of them would stock Buffy, I would imagine most of them would have at least a few copies since the series was a top 10 comic for a while. Forbidden Planet is an awesome store and would stock Buffy, but depending on where you a living there might be another store that is closer.
I always just choose, as available, whichever of the variant covers has the largest number of groovy chicks on it.
