Vancouver fans revive Firefly to go "Into the Black". A feature about the long awaited Firefly fan film.

I was wondering what happened to this. Their domain went dead and then a HNBF supporter stole the name for a web series he failed to get funded on Kickstarter.

Oh, I'm glad to see that they're still alive and kicking - they were one of the first big fan projects I remember reading about here when I first became part of this fandom five years ago.

I totally managed to miss seeing this Canadian coverage they posted in May, 2011 on their youtube channel.

Looking forward to seeing this whenever it comes out - I know how hard it is to balance work and outside projects, and to deal with volunteer inertia. It takes some serious dedication.
That is good news. This one seemed to have such promise.
This is the fan film I am looking forward the most :-) Glad they stuck with it!
I'm so glad it's still alive. I've been looking forward to this for a while now and I was wondering what had happened to it.

Hey, speaking of fan films...has anyone seen Browncoats: Redemption? How'd it turn out? Is it any good? I know it's been out for a while now, but I think my RL might have gotten in the way of any thread discussions/critiques that might have happened here.
I hope they get a better sound guy and a new editor.
I just love them! I thought it was great, wish to see more.

Bad Karma, which vid are you referring to? The "trailers" we released waaaay back were never fully edited for sound, and mostly put together hurridly for specific events. The final product will be fully edited, to the best of our abilities.
