A Bounty of Buffy: an interview with Dark Horse's Scott Allie. With the 'Last Gleaming' tpb currently at no.1 on The New York Times' Paperback Graphic Books list, the paper's Arts Beat section speaks to Scott about Buffy Seasons 8 and 9 and the Angel & Faith title.

I did a quick Google search and found that Season 8 Vol. 3 debuted at #9 but by the time Vol.4 came out it started at #1. It would take too long to dig up all that info, but I'm curious if the tradepaperbacks have done better, while the comic has slipped in sales.
Great interview. The season 9 tidbits are interesting.
The fact that A&F feels more like a aftermath type deal compared to the new big bad (presumably) of Buffy is interesting. That's one of the key differences in the show, too, I guess. Buffy is all about moving forward while Angel (and Faith) love some self-loathing and deal with longer storyarcs. Cool interview!
Yet another interview that fills me with hope for S9. I didn't hate 8 but it didn't feel like but some of the Faith stuff and ESPECIALLY the final issue are concrete examples that they can. If that's the tone S9 is focusing on then sign me up, more Buffy is never a bad thing.
