Sarah Michelle Gellar will be at Comic-Con. Entertainment Weekly confirms our favorite Slayer's first visit to Comic Con since promoting The Grudge in 2004. She'll join the cast of Ringer, which will start on the CW September 13th. Joining her on the panel on July 21st at Ballroom 20 (according to TV Line) will be Nestor Carbonell and Ioan Gruffudd.

There will also be a contest for a three-night hotel stay near Comic-Con.

Buffy and Richard Alpert in the same show, and on the same SDCC panel.

I... I need a moment. My room is dusty and there's something in my eye.
I get to see Nestor again, sigh. And Sarah for the first time!
"In addition to the RINGER panel, there will be exclusive fan giveaways during the session, including custom RINGER stools for everyone attending, a chance to win a three-night stay at a luxurious suite at a high-end hotel adjacent to the convention center during Comic-Con 2011 and 100 lucky fans will receive exclusive Comic-Con posters signed by the cast."

Stools, yay!

Unless they mean the other kind of stools? *gulp*
What are we supposed to do with stools?

Haul the stools around with you for the rest of the day?

I'm sure that that won't be inconvenient. ;)
For those interested, the panel is Thursday, July 21 at 1:45-2:45PM, Ballroom 20 (from the press release):’s-new-series-“ringer”/
Please, please, please, please, please, please don't conflict with the Game of Thrones panel.
Better watch when you say "our favorite Slayer," since there's more than one. Perhaps "our favorite blonde slayer with a sister who's a magical key" will avoid any potential misunderstandings.
Just as an aside impalergeneral, its Carbonell, not Carbonelli. ;)

In other news, awesome. I wish I could be there to see it.
I bet Carbonell will be bombarded with questions about "The Dark Knight Rises", which I'm glad to see he's returning to as Gotham's Mayor Garcia.
Great news!
I'm looking forward to reports (especially fans reports) of the panel. Since, you know, I'm not going. *sigh*
Dammit. Why don't I live in America/be rich and afford the flights.

Oh well, I trust in the internet for live footage and q&a transcripts.
Here's to hoping we get video of this when it happens. ;)
So excited! Thankfully I got a re-sale four-day pass when they went online!!!
