More Plot Details Uncovered for Grudge movie

This has to be the first time that I've seen an article mentioning SMG but not mentioning her playing Buffy. Usually every article that she is in, Alyson Hannigan and the rest of the cast all usually mention "star of Buffy the vampire slayer" right after their names.

I'm personally very excited about this movie and think it's a wise career move for SMG. Japan is truly the hotspot for quality horror films right now, and if this remake is well done then it could easily do for Sarah what The Ring did for Naomi Watts. A much smarter move than a Scooby-Doo sequel.
This could be really good. At the very least, it's got to be better than Scooby-Doo, right? I'm wondering if it'll be possible for me to watch this movie and not keep thinking of Buffy. I guess that's what Sarah fears in terms of typecasting.
Glad to hear some positive comments regarding SMG doing this movie. The last time there was a post everyone was so negative. I agree with you MindPieces that "Japan is truly the hotspot for quality horror films right now" and I am also looking forward to this and hope it does well.
This would be Sarah's first serious film since Buffy. It doesn't have to be a big hit but her performance, I hope, would be good enough to garner positive feedback from both critics and audience. This might help open up a few more doors for her. :)
