Yes,this does seem to confirm what has been rumored for a while.

Also cool that it seems Iron Man 1 and 2 director Jon Favreau is visiting based off that chair.He is a producer on Avengers.

When I saw the first pic of director Jon Favreau's chair, I didn't think he would make much of a Big Bad.
