(SPOILER) Andrew Chambliss talks to CBR about Buffy Season 9. There are some mild spoilers sprinkled in there, including a hint at the nature of the SFPD's relationship with Buffy. Also, the previously released preview pages are included, so avoid if you want to remain completely spoiler-free.

I like the last part, where he lists some of the Dollhouse stories he'd still like the chance to tell.
I like the idea of this season being vamp-centric. Hopefully the Big Bad is the guy we got a sneak peek of in #40.
Interesting new tidbits.
"Twilight was ultimately revealed as Angel, who had discovered a new, peaceful universe and set events in motions that would allow him and Buffy to live there happily ever after.

Things are never so simple, however, and Buffy returned to our plane of existence to stave off a demon invasion."

Bwahaha! That's some awesome "mistakes were made" politicalesque excuse making.
I caught up on the Dollhouse comics this past weekend and thought those were very good. Looking forward to seeing what his Buffy writing is like.
I am grateful for the Twilight recap. I still really don't understand what happened in the last 10 issues of Season 8. Sometimes a little exposition is your friend, writers.
It's also interesting to note there will be guest writers this season. I was hoping it would be all Andrew/Joss (just because multiple writers really affected the flow of Season 8), but as long as it's just short arcs, that's okay. Wonder if we'll see guest artists like Cliff Richards paired with the guest writers.

Something about this statement sings to my heart of hearts. Somebody needs to take Buffy out of her horror filled life. Angel too for that matter.

Did anyone ask Buffy what she wants?
