SMG reveals whether Ringer will have a musical episode. "I do not sing," Gellar explains.

Am I the only one who's long since grown weary of anyone ever connected with Buffy always being asked if they're going to have a musical episode of whatever new thing they are doing? It's like a bad audience question at Comic-Con, not legitimate entertainment reporting.

Your headline got trimmed for length. As a rule (and this goes out to everyone), aim for short meaningful headlines.
Yyyeah, you could tell the interviewer was iffy about going there and SMG was less than pleased. It's too be expected though, she really has no choice but to embrace it with her new show on the way.
I've actually asked the 'musical episode' question before - to Seth Green about Titan Maximum. It seemed like the sort of goofball parody where a musical episode would work, and he answered it seriously (basically, that they would only do it if they thought they could bring something new to the concept).

Ringer, though? I can't imagine a musical episode of this show being anything other than stupid.
I've never actually seen SMG talk about the musical so candidly on video.

That said... yeah... would be nice for them to ask questions about other episodes of Buffy... I'm not even convinced OMWF was the best one (and it's certainly not a typical episode).
The question may not be very good, but I find her answer interesting. I knew she was reluctant to sing, but I didn't know that what made her do it was reading the script and seeing how it was an important arc for Buffy.
I just watched the video interview. Technically, the interviewer never asks Sarah if Ringer will have a musical episode. I loved Sarah's answer though. Very insightful. I'm glad she decided to sing in the episode. Her songs(all of them!) break my heart and drive the season forward.

I don't know - if the potential questioner were willing to sing their question in dramatic fashion...

Drat - guess I now know what I'll be doing if I ever end up going to Comic-Con...
I always thought her singing in OMWF was lovely; perhaps the most under-appreciated part of the episode.
looking forward to the show! SMG looks great!
That's quite a disappointment! I thought Sarah did very well in "Once More, With Feeling."
