A smorgasbord of talent at Joss Whedon's house. Nathan Fillion tweets a pic of him, Felicia Day, Tony Head, Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright at Joss' house.

It was just like that at my apartment tonight. Except for "Nathan" say "Scully the cat" and for everyone else say "the Star Trek reboot". Ooh, wait. Simon Pegg's in that.
*like*

And now I want to see Nathan and Tony in a show together.
Glorious. Particular props to them for mirroring each others moves.
Wait, does this have something to do with the infamous Whedon Shakespeare readings?
Looking back through his Tweets I guess he watched Top Secret recently. If that's not the case then I really want to know why he wants a "Find him and kill him" rubber stamp....
O. M. G. Pegg, Wright, Whedon.

They speak to each other!!
Ideas are exchanged!!

Surely no bad can come of this.
Oh, to be a fly on that wall and hear all the wonderful ideas they talked about!
I love ASH down on the end giggling. I wonder if this is recent? Isn't Joss still filming in the Hellmouth Cleveland?
The only way that picture could have been better is if it had been taken closer to the bookshelves so that I could turn my lap top sideways and squint as I try to puzzle out the titles in the book collection. ...Everyone does that, right?

Heh. Top Secret is my favorite Abrahams/Zucker. I wonder if Nathan's a fan...
Joss has the best dinner guests/friends, by far. It seems somehow only right and natural that Edgar and Simon have joined the flock. Next, Duncan Jones.
Bloody hell. Nerdgasm.

Anyone else expecting Neil Gaimain to show up there next?

Lioness, Avengers has wrapped. Joss may well be relaxing before he's called into Post, or something. Also, I enjoy this photo immensely.
Ah, thanks Jaymill.

I'm right there with you. There are some nosy people who go to parties at others' homes and spend time sneaking peeks in the medicine cabinets. I go through the bookcases.

The universe does not have the capacity to sustain that much awesomeness. :)
Joss was restricted from using Ant-Man and The Wasp in "The Avengers" because Edgar Wright is still in the early stages of planning his "Ant-Man" film and hasn't even gotten around to casting (or has he?). What if Wright has already chosen his Hank Pym (Nathan Fillion) and Janet van Dyne (Felicia Day) ahead of time so that Whedon can include them as cameos in "The Avengers"? Perhaps Wright is a fan of "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog".

Not sure that's strictly true, Barry. Apparently there was talk of including The Wasp in 'The Avengers'. (Wasp isn't in).

I've written this on Whedonesque before, but what the hell -- Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright are amazing creative forces. Really. If Joss ever worked with them in DA FUTJAR I would wee myself. In the future.
gossi, ZKF, sooooooo much YES!! I've been wondering this for ages - why they haven't done anything together yet? Nobody ever seems to ask them why!

I think we broke Twitter cuz when I click the link it gives me a DOS-like page and needs me to sign in. I don't tweet.

So I haven't seen the picture, but I'm already claiming it as my new wallpaper. FINALLY!
Willowy There should be a "click here to see media" which will give you the picture.

Felicia is TINY!
I'm looking over their heads thinking NICE HOUSE!!
The bookcases were a SURE thing. From what I can tell that room is very homey and I bet the whole house is.
Is Felicia tiny? Or is Nathan a hulking giant man?? They all look tiny with him....
If you can't get the tweet, the picture is here. Also, Nathan is a hulking giant man, well over 6 feet. IMDb says 6'1-1/2" but I thought it was the same as Adam and Zachary at 6'4". He certainly looks taller in the picture. Felicia is pretty tall for Hollywood at 5'5".

ETA: When I try to click on the post link I get a tweet not found. It's still there, I checked Nathan's profile, don't know why it doesn't work.

I just tried, cabri and it works fine in chrome on my mac.
Oh! I would like to see those books. Seeing as how they seem to be in the kitchen (see the pans behind Nathan) I'm guessing most of those books would be cook books and I'm a foodie :)
Where's Joss, though? Making grilled cheese sammiches?
Yeah, I'm always all over that book thing myself (and you'll see quite a few Book Obsessive Whedonesquers in those threads, too) and last night was no exception.

(I seem to have unintentionally imprinted the notion of my bookshelf obsession on b!X' psyche, as well. The insidious infection spreads to whatever it touches...)
This was so awesome.
I can't stop looking at this.
Ha, QG, I thought the same thing as b!X. And that was a whole impressive set of linkies. I bet you can do that in your sleep.
; ]

I think I did do that in my sleep.

(Good to see you here, Catherine-lamb - hope you & your'n have been keeping well & sassy.)
