Media Mikes Interview with Maurissa Tancharoen Whedon. She talks about 'The Guild', 'Mortal Kombat', 'Spartacus', and her new music project with her husband Jed.

Jed & Mo ROCK! The more (Mo?) from them, the better as far as I'm concerned.
Great interview, although it worries me when people say how smoothly the filming of 'Avengers' went... shouldn't it have been hard? Wasn't 'Serenity' hard to make?
Is she talking about a second Jed Whedon album? I loved the first one.
embers, you're joking right? Please tell me you're joking. (I really think you're joking. just clarifying)
electricspacegirl, I think it's something else. "Remains" isn't on the The Willing album and when you download "Remains" it's artists are both Jed and Mo. Hmm.
A Jed-Mo (J-Mo?) album, methinks. Which is about all I want in the world.
How do you say Mo's last name? Tankaren? Tankaro-en? Tankaroan?
This interview must have been done before the headline that just broke, since I'm sure Maurissa would have said something... :( Andy Whitfield, who played Spartacus, just passed away after having lost his battle with non-Hodgkins' lymphoma... :(

I never actually watched the show, but I've followed news about it for a while since it was Whedon-connected. Tragic death--RIP Andy Whitfield.
Willowy, I believe it's Tan chuh (ch sound, not k)roe en.

I'm realizing that this would probably be a good time for me to know the IPA.
CellarDoor, she shared a link from a Facebook member there, saying Andy would always be in the cast and crew's hearts. It is so tragic.
Andy had a wife and two kids. :( I thought he had a fairly "beatable" form of cancer, no ? Was thinking he had a great chance of pulling through. Fanboy side of me also kinda hoped that he'd either resume his role in Season 3 (should DeKnight and company be planning for anything beyond the second season), or become the narrator as he was for the book-ends of the prequel season.

One of the headlines got it wrong, said he was 39. He was 36.
