Puss in Boots is in Theaters Today. The screenplay was written by Angel scribe Brian Lynch.

Reviews for this have been strong. 77% on Rotten Tomatoes right now.

Wishing Brian all the best with this. It looks great !
I'm seeing this in IMAX next week with my nieces, and my fiancÚ. My fiancÚ works with kids and loves these types of movies.
Well Rotten Tomatoes rates it pretty high so it should do pretty well (I hope so). Brian had a lot of success with Hop earlier this year... I think things are going pretty well for him, but I still want him to get to continue to write a Spike comic some day!
It's amusing. Obviously, if you're going to essentially send up Zorro with a talking cat, Antonio Banderas is the best possible choice. It doesn't have all the riffs and subplots and supporting characters that are in the "Shrek" films. It *does* have a couple of voice cameos from Guillermo Del Toro, one of the film's producers and a frequent employer of one of our favorite Gentlemen, Doug Jones (for a two-degrees-of-separation "Buffy" connection).
Lynchy wrote Puss in Boots??

Hop was successful???

Two good and surprising things to know! Hooray for Brian!
