Harry Groener wins Chicago Jeff Award for "The Madness of George III". See first photo in photo slideshow on the Jeff Awards website.

As noted in the November 7, 2011 press release of the Jeff Awards: Celebrating Excellence in Chicago Theatre, Re-Imagined Musicals "Candide," "Porgy and Bess," and "The Original Grease" Dominate 43rd Equity Jeff Awards; Chicago Shakespeare Scores Big with "Madness of George III"; "The Goat or, Who Is Sylvia?" Also Takes Top Honors (PDF),
At the gala 43rd Annual Equity Jeff Awards held at Drury Lane Oakbrook on Monday, November 7, "The Madness of George III," from Chicago Shakespeare Theater, took top honors for a play in the Large Theatre tier with a total of 5 awards, including Production - Play, Director Penny Metropulos and Principal Actor Harry Groener.

Awesome! My sister's acting company the Strange Tree Group (shameless plug) has had a good relationship with the Jeffs in recent times and it's nice to hear of other talented folks getting in on the fun as well.
