"Where Have All the Good Guys Gone?" - an Angel essay. This originally appeared in the 'Five Seasons of Angel' collection of essays that came out in 2004.

If you like the academic, intellectual side of examining Buffy and Angel, I highly recommend this book and the similar "seven seasons of Buffy." They feature a lot of interesting and thought-provoking essays on really diverse themes and character studies.
I've always liked this essay. While I don't agree with everything in it, I do agree with this:

Itís about bad guys becoming good guys, about making up for all the wrong thatís been done, about living as if you are a hero and a champion, even though your entire resume says youíre a monster.

I think that's one of the major reasons I prefer Ats over BtVS.
