(SPOILER) Joss Whedon talks to Vulture about Cabin in the Woods, Avengers and more. Quick hit interview between Joss and Vulture which talks about everything on his plate right now.

Some of the comments on this one are weird to me. Cabin is a feminist screed against the patriarchy?
You can read anything into anything if you want to badly enough. Doesn't make it so.
People will bring their own subtext no matter how wrong (or right) it is. :)
I kill teenagers. I am the stuff in the basement. And this movie, and all these movies teach you, Don't go down in the basement. Because Drew and Joss are down there, having a meeting.

I loved the quote about being a storyteller rather than a speech writer since I thought a huge chunk of Buffy season 7 could've been helped by that idea.
I'm late to the party, but thanks to twitter I knew he had 5 films. Anyone know if or how Much Ado, In Your Eyes, or Comic Con will be released?
korkster, the Comic-Con movie was released in theaters last month in limited release, and is available through VOD services. No firm news on Much Ado or In Your Eyes yet, but Joss has expressed interest in taking Much Ado around the festival circuit.
