Maurissa Tancharoen makes the top ten of women of color behind the camera. Alyssa Rosenberg lists the women whose careers you should follow.

Just like the article, I never would have expected so many on that list to have gotten their starts on Seth MacFarlane projects. While I thought his shows were watchably funny they did always strike me as a bit more teenage to college aged boy humor so I kind of tired of the formula and didn't go out of my way to watch it. I may check out one of their credited episodes out of curiosity now.
I think Seth is one of the rare men in Hollywood who don't think there are 2 separate kinds of funny (mens' humor and womens' humor). Just one. Good for him.
Nice to see her getting the recognition she deserves. Well done, Mo.

It's true. Seth MacFarlane mainly just hopes you're as unfunny as he is.
