Charisma Carpenter in Playboy? "Yes, you heard it here first. Word on the street is Charisma may do a cover shot and inside pictorial in an issue tentatively scheduled for a late spring or early summer release. More to come as this story develops..."

There's also naturally a discussion thread about it on that site.
Probably just going to get people commenting onhere that due to Joss' getting rid of her she's been forced to sink this low, I think she actually wants to do this though, she's done sexy stuff before.

I don't think that CC has been "forced" to do this...But I do have a gut feeling that JW "did her wrong"...Anyway, did you happen to check out the British Maxim feature on her? WOW!

Hmmm, I guess I can sum up my feelings in one word: Fantastic.
got a little too excited and double posted.

I knows it an ancient cliche associated with Playboy but I would be more interested in reading the interview with her than seeing the pics.
I think it's unfair to assume that Joss did Charisma wrong. I'm sure there's blame to be attributed on both sides. From what I remember, there were talks about Charisma having a lot of personal problems back in Season Three (hence her having to go to that contrived vacation with the Groosalug while Connor was kidnapped into a hell dimension). My silly theory is that ever since she cut her beautiful hair things just haven't been the same...call it the Felicity curse if you will. In any case, last night's episode proved that it was all for the best. Cordy got a sweet ending and Angel can now move on.
I just hope it doesn't turn out badly for her. Posing for Playboy is more acceptable than it used to be but for some celebrities their career fizzles out. But Charisma is unique and maybe it will be a boost to her career. At least it's an appropriate stage to be flashing your breasts on!

hee hee!
FWIW, I saw this posted on the (unofficial) Playboy Mailing List last night: "Rumor from the 100th episode of Angel Party is that long time Buffy and Angel alum (and former San Diego Cheerleader) Charisma Carpenter is going to be posing in Playboy."

I'm sure there were people who saw this post and thought, "Oh boy, an online Playboy rumor," but there seems to be more to it than just that if there was also buzz about it from the Angel party.
