Charisma Carpenter TV Guide interview. If you haven't seen last night's Angel, I would recommend staying away.

"It's my mission to be Wonder Woman!"

Baby, you already are.
Oh wow... thinking about it, I think she would be a perfect choice for Wonder Woman!
Charisma seems to let it slip that Joss thinks this is probably the last season. Then she tries to recover the fumble.

Or? Someone please tell me that my reading is off.

I'd love to see Charisma as Wonder Woman. In "You're Welcome" she was such the wisecracking, in charge heroine. She could easily carry the fighting and superhero stuff needed for Wonderr Woman, seasoned with her inimitable wiseacre style. And that body. Jealous much?
There has been a few interviews where Joss stated that he believed that Angel could go beyond 5th season, but he did made quite clear that they'll wrap this season's arc this may. So if 6th seaosn might happen, it'll be another "fresh start".
Personally I'm not that happy about this season, beside the few high points, and some very surprising episods, it's been kinda moronic in my opinion.
I just wish there were more news about a new spin off or something of sorts.
Interesting. I've felt this season has been Angel's best. Definately it's most consistant. Every episode (with the possible exception of Unleashed) has been above average, and there have even been a handful of exceptional ones (Lineage, Destiny, Damage, and You're Welcome come to mind).

But yeah, I'd really like a new spinoff too.
If Joss is going to wrap things up this season in case of no 6th, I'm really hoping we'll find out what the heck Wolfram & Hart's plans are for Angel in terms of his role in the "upcoming apocalypse." This has been hinted at since season one and I'll go ballistic with disappointment if that's never explained. I'd also like to know more about the Powers That Be and what the heck the whole Jasmine thing was all about.

I, too, am loving this season. It's getting hyper-interesting....
After last night:

Best. Season. Ever.

Kudos to David Fury.
