(SPOILER) First look at The Avengers short film "Item 47". This short, which is 12 minutes long, "will be available Sept. 25 on The Avengers Blu-ray, with a special screening planned for San Diego next week during Comic-Con".

I'm not wholly sure why Marvel aren't planting these in front of their films like Pixar do.
Well it is always fun to have special stuff for Comic Con and DVDs (actually I think it is fun to have special stuff online). But will it only be on the Blu-ray and not on the DVD??
Can I just say again how much I love the Avengers? Pure movie bliss.

Can I also just ask a random question because I don't know where else to ask it? What does Emma Stone have to do with Joss Whedon?
Squishy - Thanks for asking the question. I was wondering that myself.
Emma Stone ---> Joss Stone ---> Joss Whedon.

Otherwise I have no idea, why do you ask?
Emma Stone was in Drive, co-created by Tim Minear and starring Nathan Fillion and (almost) Amy Acker. That's a connection!
Ooo exciting. I'm definitely downloading that app to try to see it at Comic Con.
Simon, I think Squishy was asking because she's in all the pictures at the bottom of Whedonesque.

Also, the idea that they might continue doing a bunch of these short films has me super excited. :)
Yeah, I had been wondering about Emma Stone's picture at the bottom of the Whedonesque home page too, it is very odd since Spiderman didn't even show up in Avengers but his girl friend is all over the place here.
OMG, Jobo, I forgot Emma was in Drive. Dylan Baker played her dad in Drive, Dylan Baker played Dr. Kurt Conners in the original Spider-Man trilogy, Emma Stone plays Gwen Stacy, a assistant to the new Dr. Conners in the new Spider-Man film! =D
Correct, I was wondering about the pictures below. Sorry to go off topic.
