A funny cool guy. Fran Kranz talks to the New Melbourne Browncoats about Joss, Joss' fans, "Much Ado About Nothing" and more.

A video interview conducted by NMB at the June/July Oz ComicCon; their CSTS event is on August 25th - they have a CITW book signed by Fran, and other cool Whedon'verse/Castle swag, here on eBay.

What a fun interview! I really wish we had their impromptu Midsummer Night's Dream performance. I can't imagine how awesome it would be to see Fran as Thisbe, Alan as Pyramus, and Alexis as The Wall. I started laughing just thinking about how hilarious that would be. : )
Yeah, mossome, I agree: that would definitely be a pretty amazing performance.
Thanks for sharing this! We were very lucky to have the chance to interview Fran, and to spend time with him at the convention. He was an absolute delight, and went out of his way to make sure that everyone had a great time. Epic thanks go to Melbourne Browncoat, Liam (and his crew) who did the interview, and Oz Comic-Con for giving us the opportunity to interview Sean)!

We're really excited for our Can't Stop the Serenity event next weekend, so if you're in OZ we highly recommend making the trip to Melbourne. You won't be disappointed! We'll be screening Serenity and Dr Horrible as well an exclusive interview with a Serenity cast member. Plus, we're auctioning off some great goodies on the day - including a Kaylee parasol signed by Jewel! And of course there will be raffles, contests, merchandise and more, all in support of Equality Now.

For those who can't make it, we have 4 eBay auctions - including a Firefly visual companion signed by Joss Whedon & Tim Minear, a Serenity comic signed by Jewel Staite, Sean Maher and Summer Glau, the CITW book mentioned above and a Castle pack.

That was so sweet!
True story, I met Fran in Grand Central once. He was THE NICEST ever and he totaly geeked out with me over Dollhouse. this was pre Cabin release and you could tell he was SO excited for the movie to come out. He's fantastic.
Nice interview! Fran was great in Cabin, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Much Ado...whenever it gets out into the world.
And I've always thought Fran was a girl. Shame on me!
