I liked this episode better than the first. It seemed more, um, "whedonesque".

yup, the first one seemed like it should have been the 2nd or 3rd episode---I like Firefly, but I'm betting it will struggle to find an audience. Hope Fox hangs in there!

I "enjoyed" this second episode a lot better, if being scared counts as enjoyment. Wish they'd ease up on the western lingo. I think visually it's great, it looks better than Trek. That coming from a big Trek fan.
