If I were rich and powerful I'd create a television station, containing of only Joss Whedon created shows. Joss Whedon all the time. It would be glorious.

kerribear, I love you utterly. I love our captain, too...damn, I am crying and I do not mean metaphorically...

In the final few episodes Joss starts staging a big ass battle between the PTB and The Senior Partners, and in the Final episode everyone from Angel Inc has to decide on which side to fight on, big ass fight goes on, at the very end The Senior Partners and the PTB are both destroyed, while Angel and the rest of WandH are killed during an explosion at the WandH building, all sans Wes, who walks onto the rubble after the battle and spots the power essence of The PTB and Senior Partners, he then Says "Your plan worked beautifully, we now have all the Power" then Lilah, walks up and says "Yes it Did". Then after they take all the essence, they're walking away into the sunset, as Wes proposes that they get away from the Law buisness and the Wolfram and Hart name, Lilah then askes him what name he has in mind, and he coldly responds "Blue Sun."

I really need to get some sleep.

This is an interesting idea but it would break my heart to have everyone I love die and Wesley (whom I love the most) turn out to be truly evil.
I like the Firefly tie-in though. We'll have to wait and see (no spoilers for me!) how it all ends. I hope Joss has something big and surprising planned for us. And I also hope it won't really be the end (please please please).

I also realize that 400lb Gorilla was probably half-kidding and, as mentioned, needed sleep.

That being said, I personally don't want Firefly and the Buffy/Angelverse to be definitively tied into each other. But it would give me a little thrill if sometime before the end of Angel there'd be a blink-and-you'd-miss-it reference to one of Wolfram & Hart's myriad clients being Blue Sun Corporation. Not as part of a major plot point, just a passing remark. Just to make us wonder what the next 500 years after Angel would bring.
I can't imagine that Joss would tie his various 'verses together -- and, again, I don't want him to -- but, okay, to continue with this Blue Sun speculation, how far into the future is Fray? Does anyone think that the world of Fray, if set before Firefly, could eventually result in the world of Firefly? Fray's earth is pretty used up and controlled by evil corporations....but then there still are plenty of pesky demons and vampires (lurkers), not Firefly material.

And I speak as one who's been a Buffy and Angel fan from the very first.

That being said, a (small) part of me is actually excited about Angel ending. Not that I want it to end, but just think of what Joss would come up with next! Something entirely new and different, and betting on past results, quite good.

Fray is also 500 years in the future, although I don't think the exact year was ever specified.
