"Wash" Pratt-King has passed away. Browncoat and Doctor Who fan Kevin "Wash" Pratt-King passed away last night.

The SAVEWASH.COM website reports a sad statement today...

=============
"I am a leaf on the wind... Watch how I soar."
Kevin "Wash" Pratt-King passed away just before midnight on September 11, 2012, after fighting well and bravely for 35 months against the monster Glioblastoma Multiforme. Thank you to all who have loved and supported Wash and his courageous wife Tashi, to all who have respected Wash's wishes, and to all who continue to hold them both in the light. "This song is ending. But the story never ends. We will sing to you... The universe will sing you to your sleep."

This is his Wife's blog that detailed their day to day struggles as Wash slowly succumbed to this horrific disease.
I dare anyone to read through this and not have their heart break.
Well thank you for letting us know. And condolences to his wife, family and friends.
I was just about to go to their blog because I hadn't checked today and I knew it was near the end. The strength of this couple has been amazing to witness. Their love for Joss, Dr. Who and other genre fandoms has known no bounds. My sympathy to Tashi and 'Wash's' family.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
