Dawn's friend Janice ties the knot. Amber Tamblyn (Janice in the BtVS Season 6 episode "All the Way") got hitched to her long-time beau David Cross.

What? I had no idea they were together!
I always forget that she was in Buffy. I always forget that Dawn actually had friends. They were so rarely shown.
I knew her for years as Emily on General Hospital and as Russ Tamblyn's daughter.
And as Joan of Arcadia!

David Cross? That seems like such an odd match to me. But you never know with these things. ;)
Never underestimate the power of funny.

Yes, there was a such a big push with her friends at the start of Season 7 and then they just disappeared. It fits in with the conspiracy theories of the time. There was a lot of fan chatter back in '02 about the direction of Season 7 seemingly changing right before filming. Certainly Clare Kramer was supposed to do more appearances as Glory.
In another reach for a Whedon connection, she co-starred with Jeremy Renner in "The Unusuals" tv show.
Yes, the premiere of The Unusuals was posted here, which was the reason I watched it. It was awesome.
She also played SMG's sister in the Grudge 2
Simon - I am so intrigued. What else is there to that theory?
Joan of Arcadia married Tobias Funke? Cool.

Also, I love that she wore yellow (I'm not a big fan of white wedding dresses).

And I loved "The Unusuals"; it was a lot of fun. I was sad it didn't last longer.

Xander would have had an arc where he and Buffy got together and he also would have been killed off and brought back as a monster. I think despite all denials, Joss and co did have tentative plans for an eighth season and when it wasn't going to happen, story arcs got drastically changed. From memory there does seem to be a huge shift in focus around the middle of Season 7.
