Hello and good morning and look look what lovely read greets me this morning after Firefly reunion.

Jane Espenson writing legit Pride and Prejudice fan fiction makes for a happy fan girl.

...and me a happy fan boy. It's funny, I'm so used to thinking of her in genre- and medium-specific terms, that I totally forget that she writes so well in other areas, too. Part of me kept waiting for Georgiana to have to slay some eldritch-creature-or-other.
