SavingAngel.org, the site for saving Angel is live and running. You can post this anywhere you want in order to advertise it and it will be appreciated.

You'll recognize the affiliates. These are people that can be trusted, who have organized big ad campaigns before. It's amazing that everyone can put aside their differences and try to keep this fabulous show on the air.

Looks good. I like that the site tells you what they are going to do with the money raised upfront. I was checking out the other site, saveangel.org, earlier today and wondering what their plans for the cash they try to raise are. I couldn't find any info on that.
Hi everyone! I just dont get why a wonderful show like Angel would ever end, its not only unfair to us fans but it is also unfair to Joss! Look at all the work he has put into both Buffy and Angel! It makes me sick to think the WB would end it and keep Charmed on! I first heard about Angel ending yesterday night when I was lucky enough to meet Joss outside a theatre, and when he told me I could not believe it! Lets do something to stop it! Angel needs to survive! We got spike back, thats definately worth fighting for guys! Go on: http://www.petitiononline.com/ai5d0162/petition.html and sign it! We have the power to bring Angel back! Lets do it!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanx! From Crystal! p.s Joss u are the best writer ever to set foot on the earth!
That postcard thing is a great idea. You can pick one of their images, upload it to the USPS website and they will make and send a postcard for you. Doesn't cost all that much either. (Less than US$2).
There is a problem with the size and readability of their proposed advert on the web site. Anyway, I emailed them and they are aware of the problem will be fixing it shortly with a enlarged ad.
I like their "targeting" approach too since I was worried about the same thing. This is really organized and well done.
Prolific:

Some people who are running savingangel.org had this to say on the Sparklies Board regading saveangel.org, but I couldn't find this on the site to verify it:

"If you notice, they say that donations will go towards 'to defray from the costs of creating a site, communicating with the media, mailing television networks... and potentially-- if enough money is donated-- to purchase a Variety ad and television spots! ' "
Bloody hell, if they can get all those groups to work together then I'm well impressed. Kudos :).
Thanks, Rogue Slayer. I think everybody's best option is savingangel.org. Known sites and experienced people with a clear object and a good plan.
I'm impressed also. What a well organized site that we all should support...in all it's support"ness" of Angel. I love the ad too. Follow Angel to hell or another network. Works for me!!!
A very nice site indeed. They were $25 away from a full page add in the Hollywood Reporter and they should be over the mark now. I threw a little cash their way while I was there, PayPal makes this kind of thing so much easier. Hopefully someone will take notice of the ad, if not WB then another network.
