Best Supporting Actress - Gina Torres

Any fans out in LA area tonight might want to swing by and show these guys their support and wish them luck and encouragement. Also anyone else feeling a bit of irony if they would win. Not to mention the fact that Angel got the most nominations of any WB program - the only other WB shows with any nominations are Gilmore Girls (2), Everwood(1), and Smallville (1). To note the Everwood and Smallville nominations are going up against one of the Angel nominations.

Technically, wouldn't Gina Torres be nominated for Firefly? Or was it actually for her brief appearance in the end of Ats Season 4?

Gina was nominated for her Angel role, not for Firefly. They don't have a guest star category for this award, so I guess that's why her appearance fell under supporting actress.
If you scroll down far enough, you'll see that the Firefly DVD release is up for an award as well--for DVD extras.
Oh I hope David Boreanaz wins an award, but I wish Alexis was nominated, although are these awards for last season or this season?
i would say last, considering Gina's nom
I thought David B had some outrageously good outings last season. It would be great to see him win, if only to give the WB even more reason to regret cutting his show (even though I'm all for heaping him with shiny mantel decorations -- the recognition has been long in coming). Idiots. *grumble*
