'The Selection' lives again at The CW. An update on 'The Selection' pilot written by Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain who most recently worked with Joss Whedon on Dollhouse.

The CW kept the rights and asked writers Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain ("Angel" "Dollhouse") to retool the script.

I enjoyed the initial script very much and the first pilot last year was a solid effort but I understand why they are re-tooling it. Casting was solid though so I hope they at least keep the same leads.
I would definitely like to see this. The premise could easily make for something very poor; but with Craft and Fain I would have hope that it would have some heft and toughness to it, as well as its own distinctive identity.
