Agent M does a series of videos visiting the set of S.H.I.E.L.D.. There's so far 4 videos visiting the set, but not showing a whole lot just yet, so no spoiler tag.

Part of this playlist is an older video with Agent M interviewing Clark Gregg at the New York Comic Con. I'm hoping that some of the future videos might include some interviews with the cast & crew like that.

Do you think Joss Whedon is a little jealous of JJ Abrams getting the Star Wars gig? I don't think so. Yeah, I know he did want to Star Wars. But, it sounds like he really didn't want to leave The Avengers.

Twitter user @3pointedit said, "@AndrewMayne reminds me of the 70s battle of the directors. Lucas v Spielberg."
Does Joss Whedon vs. JJ Abrams having two big movies in the same year remind you of Steven Spielberg vs. George Lucas? Why or why not?
Both Close Encounters and Star Wars came out the same year. Both The Avengers 2 and Star Wars episode VII are coming out the same year.
Did you mean to post that comment in this thread?
The Joss/JJ=Spielberg/Lucas comparisons go back to the days of Alias airing. After they appeared at Comic Con together I hoped they'd work on a project together.
Regards the thread: I'm enjoying these videos, they are fun, entertaining, and add to the growing excitement over S.H.I.E.L.D.!
Regarding Joss vs JJ, I think they both know that there is plenty of room for both of them. Both Avengers and the new Star Wars can be successful. I don't believe for a second that Lucas and Spielberg saw themselves as advisories, there is no competition, they both made some staggeringly good films (and some that were considerably less good).
Those vids are all from the Universal backlot. Spooky coincidence: The last time Joss directed something on "New York Street" on that lot (DrH), it burned down 2 months later. On their second day of shooting SHIELD on the rebuilt NY street, there was a fire at the old T2 experience building (closed last month to make room for something new)

Speculation: While "New York Street" is a nickname and the set can stand in for any metropolitan city, Agent M's videos and tweets imply lots of buildings falling apart... So perhaps we get to see the SHIELD cast doing crowd control during the Avengers' NYC battle, and/or clean up afterwards. Could be something else entirely, their own battle for instance. Either way it looks good.
This guy rocks. Definitely seems like one of us. Can't wait to keep watching the videos as they come out.
