The Cabin in the Woods wins several Fright Meter Awards. Honors include Best Horror Movie, Best Director, Best Ensemble Cast, Best Screenplay, and Best Make Up/Special Effects.

I second that yay! :)
I third it!!!

Only, Fran should've won Best Supporting Actor.

But at least it won Best Ensemble Cast!

Gotta love Joss and Drew for their casting :D
Oh this is awesome! Best Picture, Best Screen Play, Best ensemble cast, and Best Director (for Drew's directing debut!) . And of course best special effects: which were amazing, one of my favorite thing about the movie is the way they married practical and CGI to make something that felt real and yet out of this world. This really was the most fun film of the year (in my opinion) and I'm glad it continues to get recognition.
Heh! Just watched the film again on blu ray and I'm making my way through the documentaries right now. Such an amazing film which everybody who worked in it, really went above and beyond on. So it deserves everyone of these awards! Well done to all!
Congratulations to all that were involved in the film. Excluding Much Ado (which I've not seen yet,) this was by far my favourite Whedon product of last year and probably the most fun I have had in the cinema since seeing the re-release of Back to the Future about 3 years ago. Really well deserved.
