Firefly pick-up lines. "I am a leaf on the wind... in bed".

For some reason this link is sending me to the page source as a text document (Firefox on Android.) Will check on other platform(s) asap.

ETA: Seems fine in other places. How strange.

My favourite comes from twitter. No idea who, but it was under #geekpickuplines. "Baby, I love you so much that if Joss Whedon were writing our romance, one of us would be dead by now." :D
Anyone else hear Kaylee's voice as she does it in the Done the Impossible dvd quiz? lol
now all i need is another browncoat or whedon fan to know what i'm talking about.
i wonder if any of the chat up lines have worked?
"I'll be in my bunk. Wanna come with?"
How is there no line about going to the special hell?
"I am a leaf on the wind in bed"?

Translation: "I'll impale you with my massive spear"...
I don't know whether to love or hate, "I am a leaf on the wind... in bed"...

Oh these make me miss Firefly. And as crazy as it is, it's Jane's "Or are you just happy to see me?" that grabs me the most.
Really, I think the only pick-up line I need to hear is "hi I like Firefly." But these are a bonus.
"I'll be in my bunk... in bed."

Nope, doesn't work.
Hey, Wanna take a trip to the special hell?
I meant talk in a theatre!!!
I started thinking up Buffy versions, and my head leaped with disturbing speed to one of Spike's speeches, which only needs to change one letter to make it not just a pickup line, but outright obscene.

Actually, virtually anything's a pickup line if Spike says it.
How could they possibly leave out:

"No power in the 'Verse can stop me... in bed."

Or is it too obvious?

My mind went to Buffy too, but instead of going to Spike or that, it went straight to "your shirt" for some reason, probably cause of the leaf on the wind in this story.
I actually don't get "I'm a leaf on the wind ... in bed"

Are you saying you're floaty in bed?

Gah, I thought I knew my Spike speeches pretty well, but I'm stuck. Hint?

Dunno if any of these have worked, but if I start a quote & you finish it (IRL) & are reasonably attractive & of compatible sexual preference, I can probably be convinced to show you where to find a ret couple.

Actually the "New Mechanic" scene in "Out of Gas" is just fullll of amusing potential: "Plug it straight into the port pin-lock..." Almost every line in there can be turned into a pickup. Hehe.
