BBC2 premieres "Dancing on the Edge" starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Anthony Head tonight. This is an explosive drama set in the early 1930s following a black jazz band in London at a time of extraordinary change. You can find more information here.

It might also interest people due to some other genre actors that are part of the cast including Matthew Goode, Janet Montgomery, Angel Coulby or Jenna-Louise Coleman.

Oh, I remember reading about this a while back! ASH and 1930's jazz? Be still, my heart! Hopefully it will come to Australian TV sooner than later.
It looks really good,. Also on tomorrow night as well.
Set to record; should be great! And thanks for the heads up on it being on tomorrow too, Simon.
Some great pictures of the show including one of ASH with the series' writer Stephen Poliakoff.
I'm not sure if it'll be put up, but perhaps those of us not in the UK might be able to watch it here eventually:
Oh, wow. Wish we were getting it in the U.S. Anyone who wants to see more of Chiwetel Ejiofor doing music, check him out singing in "Kinky Boots." He is amazing.
It's Poliakoff so I'm looking forward to it, plus Chiwetel and Tony - what a dynamite combination!
This sounds verrrrry interesting.
I'm a huge Poliakoff fan. This I must see at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later.
