Like spite or absolute power corrupting absolutely?
Did anyone happen to see Eliza Dushku on Ryan Seacrest's show yesterday? She was there to promote Tru Calling but the very first question was
Ryan: Faith--let's just talk about some other stuff for a second. Gotta clear up some of these rumors.
Eliza:Yes.
Ryan: Faith, your character on Buffy and Angel, all the fans on the websites online, they get excited about different things. So, are they trying to save Angel? Cause Angel announced it was going away.
Eliza: They're trying to save Angel from what I hear. And, I mean, I'm all for it. The show's great and there's so many fans. I don't really understand why they wanna...I mean Buffy just ended and, um, I think people really were mourning the loss of Buffy and now to take Angel away too is a little odd.
She went on to say how people on the show became "dear friends" and "Joss Whedon, the creator, is one of my favorite people".
How generous and gracious was that?

BTW about this article, some things I already knew but some others...."niche show that appealed mainly to teens and certainly was not "irreplaceable." Arghhnnnn oohh! *Grinddddd*, ungrateful bastard! Buffy put them on the map! Just some niche teen show....grrrrnn
And I remember Sarah threatening to quit if Buffy left the WB. I never understood that. She was basically countering the survival efforts on the show. If there was no Buffy on the WB there would've been no more Buffy. She obviously came around, but I never understood it. Not very helpful to ME trying to save the show.
And Charmed....don't get me friggin' started.
