The only real issue I found on first reading is that I'm pretty sure it was explicitly stated by the writers that Halfrek and Cecily were not the same person, just an odd coincidence in casting. Otherwise, great read.

Never heard that. I thought they said they didn't have time to go into it but that it was up to the fans to decide, which is why they had Spike and Halfrek recognize each other. If she's not Cecily, than that scene has neither point nor meaning.

Cool link btw. I must say I don't recognize everything. Is it all only used from the shows or is there some 'Tales of the Slayer' stuff in there maybe? Not familliar with those.

Yes, if you watch Doug Petrie's "Fool For Love" commentary he mentions that it's up to the fans to decide the Halfrek/Cecily connection. They definitely alluded to it in "Older and Far Away", but left it up to us to sort out.
