TARDIS Eruditorum tackles Firefly. "Star Trek if Robert Holmes had written it."

Great read. The article on Buffy by the same author is also very interesting.
The writer mentioned that he cannot remember any Zoe/Simon scenes, while this exchange is one of my favorites:
Simon: "I'm not very good at talking to girls"
Zoe: "Oh, there's someone you are good at talking to?"

This is a fun article. I love both Serenity and the TARDIS (the two ships I want to live on), that is enough of a connection for me.
There's also the deleted scene where Zoe recounts to Simon her personal view of the Battle of Serenity Valley and its aftermath.
Zoe tells Simon what the Reavers will do in the very first episode. "If they take the ship, they'll rape us to death, eat our flesh and sew our skins into their clothing and if we are very very lucky, they'll do it in that order.
And the very end of Objects - "This is really not my area of expertise, Doctor. I tend to be putting these into people more than the other thing."
Yeah, Zoe and Simon have some good interactions. The real loss is Wash and River, who never speak to each other at any point in the entire franchise apart from a bare two lines over the intercom in OiS, and a small scene in the Still Flying short story 'Crystal' where River doesn't say anything.
