David Boreanaz as Don Draper? Or Anthony Stewart Head as Lane Pryce or Seth Green as Michael Ginsberg? TWoP has fun imagining what Mad Men would look like if it had aired on the WB back in the day.

Matthew Weiner was clearly an avid fan of the new defunct WB network... How else to explain the way that he's enlisted more than a few of the channel's former stars to appear on Mad Men over the course of the show's six season run? In addition to leading roles for Jack & Bobby's John Slattery and Jessica Pare and Angel's Vincent Kartheiser, Weiner has also parceled out supporting roles to such WB staples as Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls), Matt Long (Jack & Bobby) and Danny Strong (Buffy).

i'm still scratching my head on that one!
I saw Mad Men last night. I think the show is getting stale. I wish for David B and some others on the show now. I think they'd do a terrific job. It would be interesting to see how they would handle these roles.
Alyssa Milano as Joan? Really?

Makes me glad the person doing that article isn't a casting director.
Anyone else think that Allison Mack and Katherine Heigl are actually pretty solid choices? Maybe it's just because I love both, but I can kind of see it.

Not that I would ever want to replace anyone in the Mad Men cast, especially Peggy/Elisabeth Moss, who is probably one of my favourite characters ever. But, still...
