Does it? This reviewer just seems to be joking about it.
I did read there were differences between the sides and the aired version (Spike's hole in the world speech instead of Angel and him contemplating saving Fred or the world), but this review doesn't mention that.

Loved that last paragraph too:
"I have a feeling we're done with the stand alones and Joss and Co. are going full on mythology episodes for the rest of the year. Why not? What's the WB going to do? Cancel the show? So bring it on, old characters, big story arches, death, destruction, heartbreak, nudity, laughter and heroism. Time to show the world how a TV show goes out in style."
