David Boreanaz's speech at Ithaca College. He was at his alma mater on Sunday to speak at the school's commencement. USA Today has some of the highlights - "You might even get canceled; don't take it personally. Just get back out there. Because you know what? If you make it through season two, they might even give you a spin-off." A full transcript of David's speech can be found on Tumblr.

I'm part of Ithaca's class of 2013. He spent most of the week in town, even hanging out with us at the bars (singing karaoke-- an Ithaca tradition on Thursday nights). His speech was quite entertaining, as well. Watching Buffy/Angel in high school made me want to go to film school, so I can't imagine anyone else wrapping up my four years here better than him.
Someone transcribed his speech so I've added that link to the entry.
I am also part of the class and attended graduation. I loved that he referenced Buffy and Angel and there were many opportunities to meet him in person. I love Ithaca!
"The steam faculty," heh.

Transcriptions are fun!
He was inducted into the speaker club along with CCH Pounder and James Earl Jones?
No pressure there.
As a 2007 Ithaca alum, I'm quite jealous. I don't even remember who my commencement speaker was.
He's a good man, that David Boreanaz.
