'Castle' writer joins 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'. Shalisha Francis is now part of the writing team.

Cool beans. I don't know much about her but it gives me warm fuzzies to see a Female African-American writer working on a Joss show (or working at all for that matter).
Ditto. I think in my case Joss has always been good about mixing up gender in his writing rooms, but I think this is the first time I've seen an african-american writer. It's good too see.
Nice to see this writing room being build-up.
If we add our lovely Asian Whedon, Mo, to the count, that is two women in the room already.
I agree with what others have said really good to see some diversity, writers rooms are still dominated by white males sadly. Stats for anyone interested.

I generally like the writing on Castle, so I'll be happy on those grounds to welcome another writer to the Whedonverse.
