Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. gets a premiere date. Per the show's official Twitter, the series will premiere Tuesday, September 24th at 8pm ET.

"Must be Tuesday."
That was my first thought as well. :)
BTW, that'll be exactly 11 years from the premiere date of "Lessons" back in September 24th, 2002.

(Oops. Wrong thread for posting that.)

But as long as I'm here, have they revealed the number of episodes in this season yet? I want to know precisely how much anticipation to be filled with. Don't say 100, or I may pop.

I haven't seen a mention of an episode run yet.
So this makes it finally feel like it's actually happening now! This news plus the Bear McCreary news makes this the most exciting week yet. I cannot wait two more months! Aaaaahhhhhh!!!
...and they will premiere with episode #4 followed by a 17 week hiatus for the new Tuesday Night Football.

I know, but I just can't help it.
Thanks, Joss! I couldn't ask for a better way to celebrate my birthday than with the premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
