Marti Noxon's Point Pleasant project update..... new cast members join the drama pilot for FOX.

Also on the main page TFC has another poll - Which of FOX's drama pilots would you most like to see get a series order? Point Pleasant is list as one of the 6 and it is currently in 3rd place among the voting.

Does anyone wonder if Marti will approach James Marsters to appear in this project. She was always pretty 'fond' of him. This show sounds like something he could get into.Just curious...wonder how far the casting has gone.

I always wonder if someone who's previously worked with Mutant Enemy will be bringing over any actors or even writers and directors to their new shows. Even if it's simply a guest shot for one episode.

It's cool seeing moments where that happens, like with Jane Espenson, Marita Grabiak, and Danny Strong on this weeks Gilmore Girls. That couldn't have been a coincidence. Also, this past week's episode of That 70's Show with Alyson Hannigan, was written by Rob DesHotel, Executive Produced by Dean Batali. Both of whom, together, wrote a few episodes from seasons one and two of Buffy. Of course, I believe both of these guys has worked on 70's Shows from the beginning and this is possibly their first time having a Buffy alum on their show... but it's still nice to see old co-workers on the same team again.
