Joss Whedon on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. Joss and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. get the cover story: "his past, present, and future".

You forgot a period, on the post title. Which will be a moot issue once a Mod corrects it.
The story should really be that Joss is on the Cover, something we've been dreaming for ages.
It's even making me kinda emotional, reminding me of the #SDCC 2010 moment when he was called on stage on The Avengers announcement and what I felt reading his thank you letter to all of us from last year.
Woot! What a great achievement.
A very interesting part:

"Over the course of the candid, 10-page EW interview, Whedon details his 24-year career in Hollywood, from his first writing job on the chaotic Roseanne to convincing The WB to let him make cult-hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer to the heartbreak of Fox’s Firefly to his triumphs with online smash Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog and last year’s mega-hit The Avengers. Plus, Whedon gives us some scoop on Avengers 2, offers his blunt take on pop-culture touchstones (from The Empire Strikes Back to Twilight), and reveals the one story he never should have told."
I was all, "I don't know, I guess I might get this." Now, if I'm in a store and I see it, I'm DEFINITELY getting it.
I love the idea of this series as the TV incarnation of "The Zeppo!"
As swanjun said, I am also in love with the reference to "The Zeppo" and what it means to the new series. Picking this issue up, for sure!
I hope this cover story mentions the Buffy comics. I want them to become more known to a wider audience.
As a reminder, any one else recall this post from cabri about this thing from 2009?

ETA: Regarding my comment from the 2009 post - I probably won't buy multiple bundles of this real issue. Just heard that Dollar exchange rate just reached new highs, ugh. Can't really afford multiple copies.

EW reader: "Who is this guy blocking Agent Coulson?"
If my EW isn't in my mailbox by this Friday, I will rage. See I've had editions go MISSING.

It's so unbelievably....I'm gonna say it...... SHINY!!!
I like this idea.

"The Zeppo" is one of my favorite episodes, ever, love the whole thing, start to finish.
Now I really want to know which story he should never have told...
Numfar PTB - that cover was the very first thing that came to my mind. I was very much "oh my Joss, it finally happened!" I am delighted right now, and will be shelling out some money for this beauty.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is gonna be like The Zeppo? I was going to watch it anyway just out of loyalty, but now I'm interested!

Hopefully it will be able to grab all the viewers who don't grok Joss' love of the "view from the bottom" and will be tuning in to see a superhero show.
And BTW, isn't a star for Joss on the Hollywood Walk of Fame like waaaaay overdue?
