A new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. trailer. Just over two weeks to go until another Whedonverse series begins. And here's the UK trailer from Channel 4.

I never get tired of Coulson's "Don't ever tell me there's no way".
Most of them still look too young to be "that good". But I'm willing to be convinced otherwise.
Well, Lioness, I guess Our Man Phil has gone from "diva wrangling" to wise-man mentoring these brilliant but flawed specialists...and wrangling them when they get stroppy ;P
As I get into my 40s and I realize how little I know, I find it harder and harder to see pretty 20somethings on t.v. playing any kind of subject matter experts. But that's just my crabby old man coming out, can't wait to see what the team's like.
In the real world they're called grad students.
Yeah, in the real world, Sunfire.

In various forms of entertainment, however? They're Hollywood Geeks who are both highly attractive and prodigies in their fields, which throw realism somewhat out the window ;P
Young people make scientific breakthroughs all the time and achieve expertise in combat as well. Let them feel pretty, too.

Not that interested in the show...just one of those people, I guess. But I watched the preview and all I could think was , "J. Aug! On my screen again! J. Aug!"
Just saw the trailer on Channel 4 here in the UK. It was worth suffering through the last five minutes of Come Dine with Me for.
I love that every trailer for Agents of SHIELD ends with "Don't touch Lola."
The best thing about the "Don't Touch Lola" clip being reused is that its just one small moment of a much, much larger series and not a really good moment from a two-hour film.
Some people think it's "Don't Touch The Lola" which may be our first schism in the AOS fandom.
Since the car is a 1958 Corvette, he probably wouldn't be referring to it as "the" Lola - unless getting killed made him forget what kind of car he's driving.
I'll definitely be watching, but this reminds me a bit too much of Giles and the Scoobies. These young actors just look so young. In addition to Clark Gregg I hope they cast some other older actors for core roles, like they did in Dollhouse and Firefly. People in their 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's can be pretty, too!
Ming-Na is only one year younger than Clark Gregg, so this group seems to have two "Giles"-aged leaders. But yes, the rest, especially Fitz and Simmons, seem pretty young to be in the positions they have. Judging from the guest stars, at least for the pilot, they will be having some older actors, as well.
