TV's most traumatic scenes: from Breaking Bad to Game of Thrones. No prizes for guessing which Buffy episode makes the list. Spoilers for Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Dexter, Game of Thrones, The Shield and Spooks in the article and quite a few other shows in the comments.

That pun hurts my heart.
Besides Buffy, the one that stands out for me was the one from Spooks (aka MI-5). It's the second frakkin episode of the show - and boom! But, it did the job, because you never knew if they were going to make it out. So, even though the death in the S3Ep10 was no less harrowing, you were in some way prepared.
For those who watched Spooks/M-I:5 all the way to the end, the scene panning over all the names on the memorial wall was actually pretty disconcerting when you realized how high the body count was when you considered the whole run of the show together... The death mentioned in the article was just the first of many.
I'm still recovering from this week's Breaking Bad. It is probably the only show besides Buffy that can literally make me feel sick inside.
