Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. sold to 155 territories and growing. In which we learn China will be airing S.H.I.E.L.D. within 24 hours of US.

A territory is not a country from what I recall.
Ooops, my bad. I ponder if the China airings are dubbed.
Well that dovetails nicely with what I was saying yesterday in the ratings thread. Highly likely that most (if not all) of the production cost of the show is covered in international sales alone. This is wonderful news that leads to a lot of creative freedom.

Simon they usually are countries. Australia is one territory as is Germany and Japan. There may be instances where network coverage spans more than one country and is a single territory. Like maybe benelux.

Interesting, online "venues" instead of usual tv network.
Simon they usually are countries. Australia is one territory as is Germany and Japan.

To be fair to Australia, it is made up of six states and ten(?) territories.
Pretty sure the article is referring international TV sales territories and not legal boundaries but I suppose I could be wrong.
What I think is being referred to here as Irrational states is "territory," not Territory.

So does anyone know if AoS is canon in the Marvel film universe?
Dubbed within 24 hours? That would be very impressive, gossi.

Meanwhile, I finally found out the Dutch situation, which is airing "next spring" or digital rentals in the meantime (for a higher per-episode price I think I've ever paid for a DVD box). Le sigh.
I'm *in* China! Yay!
Australia has six states and two territories.

I was including the overseas territories as well.
