Fox International Channels has acquired Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for its TV channels in South East Asia.
More details about
the show being sold to over 155 territories comes out, it will be broadcast on the Fox Channel in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and The Philippines and on the STAR Movies channel in Taiwan.
Nothing about a premiere date, but it'll probably be soon, considering how close together other international territories are keeping with the US broadcasts.
Premiered on
October 19th, it's shown on Saturdays at 9h50PM (right after The Walking Dead) for the territories that are getting it through FOX. Weird to have it after The Walking Dead, considering how more "family friendly" Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is, not that I'm complaining about the lead-in, but kids won't be able to watch at that time slot.
Taiwan is getting it
in November, no specific date.

But it starts late and is in competition with the Danish tv-series The Bridge, which is probably the most popular and critically acclaimed TV show in the Nordic countries right now. It also competes with The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead episodes are shown a day after they air in the US, beating Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. by a good margin. AMC and partners are doing things right.
But I'm hoping Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will have a decent viewership, enough for it to stay on Norwegian TV screens.
