Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. may connect with Marvel movies. There's some adorable Caestecker and Henstridge in this Wired interview.

They are as adorable as FitzSimmons.
They are so adorable my heart breaks in advance. One of those brave monkeys is going to suffer (after the other one dies, most likely).
"Joss wrote a scene specifically for the audition — basically, the two of them in a very close, trapped space, and they’re going to die."

Joss is like Thanos, he loves death. And his colour on Whedonesque is purple. Thanos is purple. How odd.
I dunno if we should got that far, alber...Joss is aware of death being one of the ultimate methods of making a dramatic point, but only if there's investment in the character...or if the death is notable in some fashion. I think Fitz and Simmons are safe for a while yet, if only for Joss to give Iain and Elizabeth uber-meaty dramatic material to ace ;)

I mean, the first serious death of Buffy was - IMO - was Principal Flutie, when he was killed and eaten by the hyena-possessed students in The Pack as a way of both emphasizing how serious the possession was and to make the Xander-Buffy confrontation have greater stakes. That and it allowed for Principal Snyder to be brought in for the "tyrannical school leader" cliche to be subverted by the fact that he's Buffy's height and far from feared (my apologies to Armin Shimmerman, who was superb in the role :D). Then, of course, came S2 and the death of Jenny...
