Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. boss sets the record straight on Melinda May. She has not died before.

What an odd thing to debunk out of story.
I'm guessing it came from a much larger interview and TV Guide just ran it as a bite-sized piece.
Boo. That was going to be my pet theory until the show signaled otherwise. Although I interpreted it as dying or possibly just nearly dying, not necessarily "Tahiti." There's no need to kill all incorrect speculation.
This is on the Internet. I choose not to believe it. I'll wait for the explaination in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Movie starring May, Scarlette, and Cobie.
Sunfire - That's what I was thinking, about killing speculation. It just seems really pointless.
Clearly Mo wants us speculating about something else. Though why, I don't know.

I'm just grateful that an article about May finally spelled "Cavalry" correctly.
Haha, yes. I keep wanting to do a Tumbler PSA about that. I see it spelled wrong EVERYWHERE but especially there.
Well, as much as I tend to be a stickler about spelling, I think an equal problem is people choosing to say "calvary" in conversation and the other person thinking it correct if it's the first time they've heard the term. The following definitions need to be passed around:

Cavalry = reinforcements; originally horseback-mounted troops, but now used to refer to armed backup in sufficient numbers to exceed the opposing force's troops or with superior firepower.

Calvary = hill on which Jesus was crucified outside Jerusalem, also called Golgotha (i.e. the Golgotha s*** demon from Dogma is named for the same location).
