Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon talk SHIELD, their two-year plan, Easter eggs and more. A very comprehensive interview over at Collider.com.

Looking forward to reading this, the pair has been pretty quiet lately-maybe a little busy?
Well that was pretty tame. They kept it all on the surface and didn't really say much of anything that hadn't been said before.
I was going to ask if this article should have been "spoiler" tagged (haven't read it yet), but Dean's response has answered that.
Yeah, was hoping they might address some critics a bit but that covered most things we already knew in September. Wish they would have at least gone into some favorite moments so far or any other thoughts on specific episodes we've all seen.
I thought this was a nice read. For two people running a new show that is still finding its feet, I imagine there are more things they don't feel they should talk about than things they feel they should.
I haven't seen the Thor tie-in, but having heard that it was relatively minor, I'm wondering if they would ever go all-in and make the tie-in episodes more reference heavy, in that you'd probably have to see the movie first, or get spoiled significantly. It seems to be a bit of a risk, but a lot of people have DVRs and watch online now, so it wouldn't be too hard to see the movie then watch the episode for a little bit of a small-screen "sequel" of sorts.
there are already too many Asians on it. Weve hit the quota. Ive done my job.

Haha. Love Maurissa.

The problem isn't the DVR for the episode, it's that there's no "DVR" for the movie. I won't see the new Thor or Captain America until they're available online. (So I haven't even seen Iron Man 3 yet...) So heavy cross-over with spoilers for the movies would mean delaying the series for months. For me at least.
I guess they could do that when there is a huge gap between the movie and the next episode, like when the movie is released in july, and the next season of the show starts in october. It wouldn't be good enough for people who won't see the movie until it's on DVD, but it would probably be acceptable for Marvel.
