Coming soon - BBC Radio 4 Front Row Special on Buffy. Naomi Alderman explores Buffy's legacy with the help of Joss Whedon, and actor Anthony Head, writers Neil Gaiman and Rhianna Pratchett. Coming 26 Dec. 2013.

Nice. And people should be able to listen to this outside the UK.
Ooooh. Those are smart people. (I only know Rhianna Pratchett because of her father, but I'm interested to hear from her, since she'll be taking over for her dad when he's gone.)
Looking forward to this, will be good to relax on Boxing Day and listen in.
I'm excited for this! I love that they're doing it.
@ManEnoughToAdmitIt - Rihanna Pratchett has done quite a lot of writing for games. Most notable of those are probably Mirror's Edge and the recent Tomb Raider reboot. Unfortunately, none of her work has particularly stood out from the pack, which doesn't say much for it considering the general quality of game writing. Tomb Raider had some nice touches though and she has always come across great in interviews, so I expect she could do great things away from the restrictions that games put on their writers.

This sounds like a great show though. Front Row often do interesting pieces, although they can be quite snooty about somethings (I recall the presenter [wasn't Mark Lawson] during the review for The Avengers made a couple of completely made up factual errors, such as claiming the first time we see Black Widow was in her underwear and also called it incredibly right wing.). It very much depends who is on as to whether it will be good and this sounds like it will be really good. Perfect thing to relax to after Christmas.
Joss Whedon and Neil Gaiman?

I think I've died and gone to nerd heaven.
How's that going to work on Radio BBC 4? They are pretty straight laced, I mean the only station that has the "Shipping News" Deseret Island Disks and Just A Minture!
I'll be listening to this :)
