Vote for the 250 greatest sci-fi and fantasy moments of all time. This'll feature in an upcoming issue of SFX Magazine. There's several Whedonverse moments you can vote for and you can write-in your choice if you don't see it listed.

I think this is all of them:

ANGEL Illyria lets Wesley see Fred for the last time

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE "Puny god!" The Hulk owns Loki

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER Buffy imagines her mother alive and well before we snap back to her dead at home, in "The Body"

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER Buffy pushes Angel into Hell

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER We find out Buffy's been to Heaven through a song in "Once More, With Feeling"

CABIN IN THE WOODS, THE The monsters are all released

FIREFLY Mal Reynolds kicks a bad guy into Serenity's engine intake ("The Train Job")

SERENITY Wash's death
No way could I decide.
I always thought nothing could top the ending to Planet of the Apes. Then I saw this list.....damn.
I did vote mostly for Whedonverse and Batman.

However I had to add the closing moments of Not a Fade Away as my choice. Iconic,
So many moments, so few votes. And wow, there are still loads more that didn't make the list. She saved the world. A lot.
"ZZZZZ" is the #1 SyFy moment of all time-it aired on Jan 27 1964 and it's about 45 mins long. Fiction with Science, excites the blood, and makes a body think.
